Club and Community Projects![]() Since its foundation in 1960, the Rotary Club of Pittwater has returned in excess of $700,000 to the community. Some of the assistance has gone to the following organisations:
Rotary sponsors International Exchange Students. These are local high school pupils who spend a year studying in school overseas. In turn, overseas students visit Australia for a year attending local schools. This promotes international understanding. In addition, we manage the Tree of Joy at the Warriewood Shopping Centre. Christmas gifts given by the community are directed to local families in need. Many more include our Pride of Workmanship awards, the Christmas Trailer Raffle to raise funds for community projects, RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness) for year 11 students, Rotary Youth training schemes to promote personal development, medical equipment for the Water Police, and assistance to the Salvation Army for its annual Red Shield appeal. Please contact us for interesting project ideas where the Rotary Club of Pittwater could help to support the community. © The Rotary Club of Pittwater - contact@rotarypittwater.com - Telephone 02 8005 0320
