The Rotary Club of Pittwater

About us

Founded in 1905, Rotary is a worldwide organisation of more than 1.2 million business, professional and community leaders in over 200 countries, dedicated to serving the community.

Our club, chartered in 1960, is one of 33,000 Rotary clubs around the world. Our area includes the Pittwater Council group of suburbs. This is the part of the Northern Beaches area of Sydney, Australia, stretching from North Narrabeen to Palm Beach. The area is virtually surrounded by water,  bordered by the Tasman Sea to the east, Narrabeen Lake to the south and Pittwater itself, to the west and north.

Our membership  reached 40 in 2003, bringing the club into the medium size bracket. Today, it stands at about 30.

What we do

Our club focus is on participation rather than just fundraising, with a number of ongoing programs that have become part of Pittwater community life.

We present a number of community events each year. See the box at the left for the upcoming ones. Our projects aim to improve the Pittwater community and our support also reaches out to those less fortunate in other countries.  Explore the menu to the left to learn more about our programs.

Club Meetings

We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings. More info here. Contact us for details of our next meeting.
